New Members Welcome

Imagine having the opportunity to widen your circle of friends both in Bourne End and just across the Channel in Northern France! Many people have already done this by joining the Bourne End (Bucks) Twinning Association (BEBTA) which links Bourne End with Octeville sur Mer, in Normandy. For just £10 per family or £5 single membership you can take part in all sorts of activities - the highlight of which has to be experiencing the amazing Octeville welcome when we exchange weekend visits in alternate years. You may have read about these in the Target Magazine, and may even have heard enthusiastic reports from BEBTA members. Suffice it to say the French hospitality is second to none, and strong friendships have been formed. In return, we aim to give the Octevillais a great time when they visit every other year. Planning this together always turns out to be just as much fun. These short visits are well organised: some meals plus optional group activities (such as coach trips, river trips, and dancing) are provided for all guests and hosts. Between visits, with our growing circle of local members we enjoy ourselves in many events such as dinners, quizzes, garden parties, other social events - new ideas always welcome!
